Metechi Hardneck Garlic

Metechi is the hot one. Often called the Spiciest Garlic in the World. A porcelain hardneck out of Georgia, with thick wrappers and cloves that bite.

Raw, it is sharp and lingering. Cook it hard and it holds its own in a stew or a roast instead of fading out.

We grow it organically in the Wisconsin Northwoods, planted and pulled by hand. Sold by the pound.

Planting garlic — bulbs 2 inches or larger. One pound plants about 30 cloves. Order now for fall. We harvest in July and cure on the farm. We fulfill orders as they are received.

Cooking garlic — smaller bulbs, same variety, same farm. For pots that want garlic you can still taste.
