Korean Red Hardneck Garlic

Korean Red is an Asiatic hardneck with purple-and-red striped wrappers and more cloves in a pound than our porcelains.

Raw it is fiery. Cooked it goes rich and savory. We harvest it a little earlier than the others.

We grow it organically in the Wisconsin Northwoods, planted and pulled by hand. Sold by the pound.

Planting garlic — bulbs 2 inches or larger. One pound plants about 50 cloves. Order now for fall. We harvest in July and cure on the farm. We fulfill orders as they are received.

Cooking garlic — smaller bulbs, same variety, same farm. For anyone who wants a hotter garlic.
