German White Hardneck Garlic

German White is our workhorse porcelain. Big white cloves, winter hardy, and it stores.

The flavor is full and a little spicy raw, then mellows when you cook it. Easy to peel, easy to plant. The one people grow when they want a reliable hardneck in a cold climate.

We grow it organically in the Wisconsin Northwoods, planted and pulled by hand. Sold by the pound.

Planting garlic — bulbs 2 inches or larger. One pound plants about 30 cloves. Order now for fall. We harvest in July and cure on the farm. We fulfill orders as they are received.

Cooking garlic — smaller bulbs, same variety, same farm. Everyday roasting and sauces.
